LONDON, United Kingdom -- The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are planning to move into Kensington Palace, which was Prince William's childhood home. The move into what has been described as a "small apartment" within the property is likely to take place as early as this week.
A spokesperson for St James's Palace said the move will be a temporary one, with the royal couple expected to find a larger property in London for the long term.
The Duke and Duchess' are expected to make their first official overseas trip later this month when they travel to Canada on 30 June. Palace officials said the couple’s visit will include Ottawa, Montreal, Quebec City, Prince Edward Island, and Calgary. The couple’s trip to Canada will be followed by a July 8-10 stop in Los Angeles and the surrounding area.
